Mother’s Death

My Mother died sixteen years ago today.    I still miss her.
She was one of the few really honest people I have know.  Never afraid to tell me what she thought whether or not I liked it.    Sometimes I hated her for her honesty, it is not easy being told you are “wrong”.
We loved each other, we fought with each other and we both knew that we would always be there for the other.    She was my best friend and my safe enemy.
