Antonieta’s son died this morning. He was eighteen years old and had been hit by a train while riding his bicycle in Mexico. How much can one heart break? I have known several women who have lost their adult children. The rule we live by is that parents are supposed to leave this world before their children. We know this is not always so, however, we fight against the reality of death to our young. I will keep her in my thoughts and hold her in the light.
