My 5 year old granddaughter said that the hardest thing for her about kindergarten is “keeping my mouth zipped. I try really hard and half way thru it becomes unzipped again”. The second hardest thing is the homework – she says with a grimace.
She is a talker and how I hate to see free spirit shut down and the editing process of adulthood begin. Today in yoga, a new class for me, I wanted to ask for “OM” at the end of the class. I hesitated and finally said to myself, “you are 73 years old, not too many years left, say whatever you feel”. I did, we said the Om’s.
